Haunted Halloween Challenge Results
A huge round of applause to the members who participated in the Haunted Halloween Challenge. It was such a blast to watch the songs as they progressed. In case you missed the results – the winners of the challenge were Team #1 – Goodvibes, Vuya1, Xan. And of course a big shout out to Team #2 - Embers, Gabrojazz, Roo, tpistilli – who respectfully came in second place by 1 point.
Boardroom
During the Halloween challenge we announced a new feature called the Boardroom. The Boardroom is a live project chat area where collaborators can meet up and chat in real-time and in complete privacy. Enter the Boardroom from your project page with the link on the top right.
Bit Depth and Sample Rate
To help communicate better a project's audio file requirements, we've added bit depth and sample rate options to the project settings page. If selected, these are shown in the Project Summary area.
Member Survey
Those of you who did not take the survey yet, please take 5 minutes to fill it out – it helps us to know what you like, dislike, and would like to see on ProCollabs. Take the survey now.
Tutorials and Help
For the new members who've recently joined – please feel free to browse through the tutorial section.
We've recently added three new tutorials that you may find helpful: Completing Projects, Assigning Copyrights and Assigning Credits. You should also find our previous Collaboration Agreements tutorial very helpful.
Please do take the time to understand the collaboration process and particularly the subject of copyright in a joint work, and how we have implemented it on ProCollabs. This is a key responsibility of any project director.
We also encourage you to contact our moderators for questions, assistance or clarification at any stage of your project. We're here to help you get the most out of the site!
Spread The Word!
Word of mouth counts. Spread the word about ProCollabs, if you enjoy collaborating with others, then invite your musician friends to join. Get them in before the beta period ends and they'll be thanking you for some big savings too ;)
