Haha...I went to download someone else's track, and when I went to my downloads page I saw the "[d]" which I thought meant "download"....oops.

Hey FirstDivision. Welcome and great to see you posting. Absolutely use this as your notepad - everythings good!

You have a couple of specific questions, I'll try to answer briefly. And we'll keep checking back in here as we continue the development.

Couple of things you might want to note first. If you have a look at the bottom of the page you'll see a link to 'Site Development', this page is where we are posting the things that we are either working on or intending to do. If you have suggestions you can have a check in there to see if its mentioned already. If you have a feature suggestion there is a forum topic called Member's Wishlist so can add any suggestions in there too.

Another link down the bottom there is 'Report a Bug'. If you come across anything that doesn't work, is broken, i.e. not a feature request or such, we'd appreciate it if you can create an account there and report it. That way we can get to the broken stuff as a priority. You might also find that things have already been reported there too and you can add in your comments or specific experience.

Ok, so if you want your project to be visible on the Active Projects page, the main criteria at this time are to 'feature' a track (you did this) and also to upload some cover art! Nobody wants to see how much you 'love ProCollabs' when they're checking out projects :) Then you should go to the top being that yours is the newest project.

So your question about a project search feature, actually, we just started some work on the projects page yesterday. So that was a first step. And now that we are starting to have enough projects on the site to make it worthwhile, the next thing we will be looking at is the search feature.

Uploading a track (I think you found it already) is from the project page itself, a button on top left that says, 'Upload Track'. This can be audio or text.

The Media Management section is for restoring archived tracks or permanently deleting them.

For email notifications you can find the settings in your Dashboard -> Profile -> Account -> Account Settings. However, there is no topic/thread subscribe feature for the Forums yet so that might be a good idea. Currently, if someone replies directly to your post then you will see a notification in the top right of the browser. This response is a reply to your post, so you should have seen that. The green thumb clears the notification.

About the player at the top, in time, the kind of thing you have suggested will be implemented, probably with some kind of playlist. In general, we are looking at the big issues right now, and things you probably won't even see. But as those bigger things get resolved we'll be narrowing our focus to the details. However, do keep posting them so as they will be available when we get to it. Anything that is easy enough to do may also be done quickly.

And yep - downloads page is something we still need to tidy-up :)

Thanks for your input. We really appreciate it. If you've got questions at anytime just post them (there is a forum help topic started too). As you can already see our members are really a pretty helpful bunch and can answer a lot of the questions you might have. You might also want to check out the Tutorials section too, something else we will continue to build on.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

"Currently, if someone replies directly to your post then you will see a notification in the top right of the browser"

I actually saw your reply to me through that feature, so that's working perfect!

Thanks for the info in the bug tracker too. If I find any "seriously broken" things, I'll be sure to post them there.

So, now, back to recording some music! Cheers!.
