I really like this so far, great idea! I took some notes while I went through my first tour through the site:
- how do I create a bulleted list in the forum? Can I use markdown?
- It took me longer than I think it should have to create a new project. Maybe that should be a permanent link in the main header?
- While adding a "custom item" to talent needed I typed in "any" (on my way to "anything"). The type ahead lookup is a great feature, but I was present with a list that had "Anything", and then "Anything & Everything" three times. Is it perhaps selecting all custom items that have been created and not distinct ones?
- When editing things like talent, genre, etc...how do I get back to the "main" project page? i.e. /project/[id] ?
- How are the projects on the /projects/ page sorted?
- I added a project (https://www.procollabs.com/Project/72) but don't see it on the /projects/ page above? Am I missing something to make it appear? Some sort of "checklist" of things that need to be done?
That's it so far. I think a raw "first impressions" list like this might be helpful to iron out the "new user experience".

one more:
- how are forum topics sorted. I just submitted this but it's at the bottom of the list...?
- I see the note now on a reply about how to add some markup. Is that there when you create a new topic and I missed it?

...aha! here's the "real" way to post a new reply. I would have expected it to be above the paging controls.

Hi Andrew!
The black curved arrow thing will get you back to the main page of your project.
You need to feature your track so it will play on the projects page - go to your track and click the star...I think.
Heard your track, sounds awesome. If you are looking for drums I'd suggest posting a mix sans drums as well.
Cheers!
Joe

Aha ok, I see the "black curved arrow thing" now. Thanks!
My next mission is to figure out how to upload another file. I went to media management but don't see it there.
(still just documenting my "new user experience" not trying to be snarky or anything)

I found it in the subset of controls next to the initial track upload. I guess this means I have to go render a new MP3 now lol.

Ok, i see what the "feature" checkbox does now (makes it playable from the cover art thumbnail on the project listing page).
It also answers another question I had -- what the player controls were for in the header. I clicked the "play" button when I first logged in to see what it did...I figured it was going to be a "project happening right now" kind of thing, but instead nothing happened.

Can I get email notifications to forum replies? i.e. "subscribe to this thread"?

Sorry...kinda using this thread as a notepad....
It would be nice to be able to search for projects that need [insert talent] from the projects page too. That's the other half of this right? Not only does a user have a project that they need help on, but people are here to help others and have a specific skill that they can contribute.

Haha...I went to download someone else's track, and when I went to my downloads page I saw the "[d]" which I thought meant "download"....oops.
