Thanks Andrew, I’ve been exploring different ways to mic an acoustic guitar recently, mainly as I bought a new acoustic guitar and it doesn’t have a pick up or DI capability, it feels quite organic which I really like and sounds amazing, the challenge now is getting that sound recorded!!! There’s so many options and opinions as well.........

Usually I just DI on one channel and mic with a Rode NT2-A on the other which sounds pretty good, but I don’t have that option on this guitar :-)

Without wishing to hijack your thread I’d be interested to know what other acoustic players use :-)
