This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage ProCollabs uses, what each is for and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Browsers also offer similar storage ("local storage" and "session storage"). We use both, only for running the site, remembering your choices and, if you agree, measuring how the site is used.
These are always on, because the site can't work without them. They don't track you across other websites.

Administrators of the site also have a few preference cookies for the admin area.
With your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Its cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are only set if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, and last up to 14 months. If you click "Reject", or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they are never set. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you are signed in, your choice is also saved on your account so it applies on your other devices. Saying 'yes' to analytics cookies helps us to improve the site for all users.
We also count visits with a privacy-friendly statistics tool that uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. If you block the cookies that are needed for the site to work, you won't be able to sign in. For analytics, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
When we change this policy we publish a new version here, with its date. If a change affects what we ask your consent for, we'll ask again.
