Project Summary

Description: Moody song in A-Minor. Being a suffer of depression and anxiety my initial idea was around the lyrics being an apology to somebody close to a person suffering from mental health. The sufferer has left to spare their loved one from the effects of their depression, this is the note left behind...

Project brief: At the moment I feel the song lacks a bit of traditional structure, that could be a good thing, I'm not sure. Looking for quite melancholy/dark lyrics that stir some emotions around regret, etc. Happy for some input on the music itself and, as always, need a singer :)

Lyrics

You know me so well You see from my eyes How was my day? I'm so sorry, to put you through I'm so sorry, to take you there With your selfless love With you here by me You give me the strength You put, my needs before your own You guide me through it all And I want you to know I am so thankful for your love, For you I'm so sorry, to put you through When I'm losing myself, drowning in despair I'm so sorry, to take you there When nothing that I do, makes any sense I'm so sorry, I hate myself For feeling this way I'm so sorry, if there was Any other way 2.55 Take me in your arms and hold me close Feel my love, Hold me I'm so sorry, to put you through When I'm losing myself, drowning in despair I'm so sorry, to take you there When nothing that I do, makes any sense Take me in your arms and hold me close Feel my love, Hold me Take me in your arms, don't say a word Hold me close, Hold me Lyrics Patricia Kigilcim copyright 2020
