Whazzup ProCollabers!

4 months and counting, woohoo! As we've encountered our fourth month in beta, we're happy to report that things are developing on schedule. Still loads to do, but everything is coming along very nicely with no major issues being reported in recent weeks.

Latest Features

New Design: We finally began to incorporate the new site design. Starting with our new logo and continuing with the design of the site navigation bar/banner. For those of you who have not signed in for a while, we encourage you to do so!

We decided to implement the new design one section at a time - that makes it easier for us to monitor any glitches or malfunctions due to the changes. Over the next few weeks you will begin to see new changes on the pages within the site. We hope you like them; please feel free to let us know whatcha think thus far.

We've also redesigned the individual tracks section on projects and improved the lounge area layout. As we move forward, we also hope to start making things more mobile friendly.

New Audio Player: Very excited to have a new audio player design which now incorporates the audio file's wave image; and thus far, it's working perfectly :) You’ll notice it is no longer stationed on the banner. It now opens at the bottom of the page each time you press play on a track or project.

Site Activity

We have noticed a decline in the site's activity recently. It's certainly not due to lack of talent, as we have 90ish (and growing) of the most talented musicians on the internet! Granted, ProCollabs has only been around for a very short while, and its going to take some time before things start to peak and bloom - but if every member on the site starts a project and participates in at least one other project, we'd actually have a very active community already!

At this stage of beta testing, it's very important that we all engage and become proactive as much as possible - remember, you ALL are the ones molding the site and setting the foundation for what we hope will become unparalleled on any other collaboration site when it comes to raw talent and experience of its members. ProCollabs aims to provide an exclusive community that we'd like for you all to call home. And that said, we're always keen to receive direct feedback and comments that will help us make and shape improvements that will encourage more activity and participation on the site.

"Member's Media" and "Music Library"

You might have noticed that we've changed the "Member's Library" to "Member's Media"; And, the "Completed Projects" has now become the "Music Library". Suffice to say, we have big plans for the future of the Music Library and the change of terms is geared toward helping music supervisors and potential music licensees to find your music and songs on ProCollabs when searching for licensable material.

In short, the more completed songs we have published into the Music Library, the faster we can start to develop and promote the music licensing side of ProCollabs to the outside world.

Social Media

Some of you may have noticed, we now have our social media links up and running. If you're willing and able, we'd appreciate anyone who can jump onboard and support us by linking and pointing others towards ProCollabs and just plain helping us in getting the message out there in the big ol' world of social media. You can find all our links at the bottom of every page on the site.
