Whazzup ProCollabers!

Well we’ve just reached our third month in Beta and we’re happy to say the site is developing nicely with few, if any, bugs being reported by members. Still things to do of course, but we’re getting there slowly but surely.

Speaking of, we're currently busy at work on updating the design of the site. From some of the feedback that we've received so far, many of you are using mobile devices to access and use the site. The new design effort will take this into consideration and hopefully provide a more pleasant experience for our mobile users. So expect to see a few changes here and there, including a new logo ~ which is being prominently showcased above :)

Latest Features

Submit under CC License: A new project option has been added. When you start a project, you may now choose to allow members to submit work to your project under a Creative Commons license. For members who want to retain ownership of their original contributions and be able to reuse their work elsewhere (since the licensed work does not become jointly owned), this may be a good option if permitted by the project director. If available, the option will be presented when you upload an audition for a project.

Library Features: We've added a new library feature. The Music Library contains completed audio, lyrics, and cover art, published by our members under various Creative Commons licenses for use by other members in their projects. Now, you can start a new project or import audio directly into your project from a member's Library. You can even import cover art. We've also uploaded a new tutorial called The Media Library.
