I began playing professionally in my early teenage years, until my mid-twenties. During these years I gave performances featuring music from "Jacques Offenbach to Tony Orlando". At the time I also had a Korg O/1 keyboard that I sometimes used as an accompaniment to my performances on theater organs. On theater organs, I also improvised scores for silent films of the 1920's, and transcribed orchestral works such as "On the Trail", from Ferde Grofe's "Grand Canyon Suite". I began my bachelors degree, then achieved my masters degree in performance. As a graduate assistant I accompanied three choirs, a voice studio, and the opera studio.

As a composer I have written only a few pieces. "Pipes On Parade", for theater organ; "The Minute I Heard" (Rumi), for soprano and piano; "Hope Is the Thing With Feathers" (E. Dickinson), for four-part choir; and "Alleluia, Amen", for for four-part choir (on a motif by L. Vierne). Though none of these are published, they all have been performed publicly.
